A&G Machine is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate a diverse range of 5-axis machining capabilities, including large nutating heads and gantry-style machining, as well as complex assemblies and kitting. Job Description
- Read blue prints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpret GD&T.
- Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
- Set up machines by installing pallets, vises, tombstones, and fixtures.
- Maintains specifications by:
- taking measurements;
- detecting malfunctions;
- troubleshooting processes;
- adjusting and reprogramming;
- replacing worn tools;
- adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift.
- Edit G code and M code programs.
- Operate 3, 4, & 5 axis vertical and horizontal CNC Mills.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain equipment using preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years Machining
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- US Citizen
- Able to work well with others.

Physical Demands
- Required to push, pull, lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility

- Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
