CNC Maintenance Technician (Day Shift)

Job Description

  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant federal and local guidelines for safety and productivity, including OSHA, L&I, and other required regulations.
  • Assist with the periodic maintenance of equipment and machinery by following the recommended maintenance schedule throughout the device’s life.
  • Assist in improving productivity and enhancing the efficiency of our equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, repair, and maintain the system to optimize performance and achieve maximum output.
  • General maintenance functions include interior and exterior facility maintenance, scheduling, and assisting with the routine disposal and collection of pallets, waste coolant, waste oils, and other materials.
  • Assist in the clean-out and repair of machines to minimize machinery downtime during the production calendar.
  • Evaluate workspace safety on the production floor to ensure that all staff members are following guidelines for equipment use.
  • Complete a variety of tasks related to maintenance of machinery, including plumbing, electrical jobs, heating and air conditioning and more depending on the scope of the project.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing tasks related to maintenance, repair or installation.
  • Organize maintenance area and stock items.
  • Order replacement parts/services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical understanding/skillset.
  • Good work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paved industrial setting.
  • Basic knowledge of skilled trades, such as HVAC, electrical or carpentry
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electric and hydraulic systems and parts.
  • Vast knowledge of maintenance systems, CNC machine tool and mechanical processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of Equipment Maintenance.
  • 1 year of Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience on 5-axis CNC machine trouble shooting, alignment checks, leveling.
  • Experience on Fanuc CNC controls.
  • Experience on Siemens or Fidia CNC controls is a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Required to push, pull, lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
  • Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. 
  • Work around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts.

Work Environment

  • Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments.
  • Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.

Schedule

  • 8 hour shift
  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Pay Range

From $22.00 per hour
